- Size Detail: The street glide ape hangers feature a 1.25"(1 1/4") fat bar and 10" rise with 5.4" clamping width and 1" diameter clamp area, end to end width of 36.1" and base width of 17.1", crafted from high-strength steel that resists rust, moisture and extreme temperatures for lasting durability on your Harley
- Simplified Wire Reconnection Process - We have streamlined the installation by preinstalling the Throttle-by-Wire (TBW) and CAN-Bus Wire Harness. To complete the setup, simply trim your existing TBW wires and connect them to the corresponding handlebar TBW wires. A dedicated wire reconnection toolkit is included to facilitate secure and efficient wire splicing.
- Wire Matching Consideration - In rare instances, the color-coded of the CAN-Bus wire harness may not align perfectly. If this occurs, please cross-reference the old and new wire connectors to ensure proper matching, it is suggested to go with a multimeter. Specifically, on both sides there will be 2 orange with white striped wires you will have to splice together to finish the wire connection.
- Simple steps for heated grip wire installation: After switch removal, left/right heated grip wires 3-4 inches from the handle, strip 1.5 inches of cover with an exacto knife. Match wire colors from pre-wired handlebar, thread solder butt splices onto twisted pairs, centered-heat with a torch (low flame protects plastic) to weld/seal joints. Both sides follow identical step
