The GVT-2003 SMF ST media converter is capable of converting network signals between copper and fiber based networks. The converter offers a 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 port, supports full duplex and half duplex switch connectivity, as well as 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 1000Base-T auto-sensing. In single-mode operation with fiber cabling the network range can be extended up to 20 km. The unit has built-in DIP switches for easy converter configuration that work on the Smart LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) and allows the converter to monitor both the fiber and copper connectors for signal loss as well as cut-through and smart pass through mode. The GVT-2003 can operate at temperatures from -10° to 55° Celsius. The converter can be used as a standalone device or as a plug-in module for the CHV-2000 19" converter rack.
